Tonkin + Taylor is delighted to announce a strategic realignment within its Group Leadership Team to further enhance our digital and technology initiatives.
Wayne Broekhals, previously Executive Leader – Information Technology, has been appointed to the newly defined role of Executive Leader – Digital + Technology. Wayne will be responsible for our Digital Strategy in addition to his ongoing leadership of T+T’s Technology discipline.
Under Wayne’s leadership, the focus will intensify on leveraging data to meet business objectives, setting a clear digital strategy, and executing our digital business plan.
This strategic shift comes as Wayne assumes digital strategy duties from Dr Brett Ogilvie, who served as Executive Leader – Sustainability + Digital (Acting). Brett will undertake the new role of Executive Leader – Sustainability, allowing him to focus entirely on sustainability – a vital component of Tonkin + Taylor’s purpose ‘together we create and sustain a better world’.

Wayne brings a wealth of experience to his expanded role, having previously aligned Technology and Digital teams to deliver on outcomes at Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu.
